Waukesha Coin Club Newsletter VOL.XLVII June 2015 #6 http://www.waukeshacoinclub.com
Topics at the May meeting included: The club received renewal notices for NOW and ANA and Central States Numismatic Society. Remember when attending activities sponsored by these groups that you should sign up as a Waukesha Coin Club member as they discount the clubs dues based on member attendance numbers. A new member joined, Becky is new to coin collecting but is willing to learn and spend time with the husband attending coin club meetings. We had a discussion if the US will ever stop producing the one cent coin. Canada has eliminated the one cent coins without issue. People avoid using change. The one cent coins are used to subsidies the Zinc producers. Our next regular meeting of the Waukesha Coin Club will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 3rd, at the Waukesha Salvation Army meeting room located at 445 Madison Street. The Salvation Army is located one block west of the corner of Highway 18 and Madison Street. Enter through the back door and take the elevator to the second floor. Announcements:
