Our April meeting included many items shared from members.  The evening was capped of with our annual raffle drawing.  The top two raffle sellers were: Mark Melby and Don Kaminski.  Each received a Silver Eagle for their efforts. Dick presented a banner to be used for future coin displays.

Announcements:

  • Our next regular meeting of the Waukesha Coin Club will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 3rd, at the Waukesha Salvation Army meeting room located at 445 Madison Street.  The Salvation Army is located one block west of the corner of Highway 18 and Madison Street.  Enter through the back door and take the elevator to the second floor.
  • According to news reports, Food Pantries are low.  Please bring Non-perishable food items to meeting.
  • Guests Welcome: If anyone wants to bring new collectors young or old to the meetings, remember that guests are always welcome.

Trivia:  The popular Silver American Eagle $1 coins borrowed their obverse design from which other coin?
