Thank you to everyone that attended the October meeting.

Presentation “Barbers”
As we all know, Chuck is a vault of knowledge about the Barber coins. Charles Barber was the longest tenured engraver of the history of the mint. The public was clamoring for a new design and several contests were initiated to help with that new design but professional sculpture caused issues. Augustus St. Gaudens was a big obstacle to the design. Chuck brought to our attention the profile of Liberty on the silver coins looks a lot like the statue of liberty and several roman emperors.

Christmas Dinner is going to be at the Tuscan Hall. Doors open at 5:30pm. Dinner at 6:00pm. Anyone is invited to bring a display if interested. The Cost will be $20 per person. You can pay anytime until the day of the party. Please let us know if you will be attending for the head count and the number in your party. 409 Delafield St. Waukesha, WI 53188

Membership Dues will be collected in January. Payments can be made at the meeting or Checks can be mailed to Chuck.

Calling all Bell Ringers. We will be ringing bells at Woodmen’s in Waukesha on Friday November 25th. The Salvation Army is always gracious enough to host our meetings. It is time to give back. Please consider joining us for an hour or two on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Regarding Chet Krause Memorial
