Our August meeting included a presentation by Garrett on  “Obsolete Bank Notes”.  Exhibits included souvenirs obtained by Ellison during a vacation trip.  They included a picture of a Gum Ball Machine used to distribute old coins at a gas station.  We discussed our preliminary plans for a Boy Scout Seminar, October 14th.  Discussed changing our Coin Show date to March 25th in light of Madison’s Coin Club picking the same date.

Announcements:

• Please bring School Supplies to September meeting for donation to the Salvation Army.
• Our next regular meeting of the Waukesha Coin Club will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 6th , at the Waukesha Salvation Army meeting room located at 445 Madison Street.  The Salvation Army is located one block west of the corner of Highway 18 and Madison Street.  Enter through the back door and take the elevator to the second floor.
• Mark your calendars for the WCC coin show March 11, 2018
• Guests Welcome: If anyone wants to bring new collectors young or old to the meetings, remember that guests are always welcome!
