Thank you to everyone that attended the July meeting.

No Presentation in July

I was in Iola in the middle of July and I was able to find the location for the memorial
park for Chester Krause. It looks about the size of the Parking lot for the Salvation
Army. There is a sign up soliciting donation. It is a grass filled lot about half a block off
main street. Completion of the project is Fall of 2023 according to the sign. John did
make the suggestion that the club match any donation made by members to support
the effort. If you have an opinion but have not been at the meetings to hear the
discussion, please contact me and I will be sure to let everyone know your thoughts.

August Mint News
There is no news regarding the mint this month.

July Trivia Question Answer: The Cleveland Great Lakes Exposition commemorative
half dollar was the coin struck in both 1936 and 1937 but all were dated 1936.
