Presentation

FAO Coins represent the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization. Started in
1963 with the Motto “Fiat Panis”. Let there be bread. Over 130 countries were
involved in the beginning and over 100 countries have produced a coin. The last coin
produced was in 1971 to commemorate the 70th Anniversary. Thanks Tina for the
presentation.

Election Information:

Here are the descriptions for the officer positions that will be
elected in 2024. If you have any interest in a position please reach out to the current
officers and let them know.
The PRESIDENT shall preside at all meetings, and shall also be an automatic member of any committees formed.
The VICE-PRESIDENT shall perform all duties of the President in their absence.”
The SECRETARY shall keep a written report of all Club transactions, including a written report of the meetings.
The TREASURER shall collect and disburse all monies, dues, income from auctions,
donations, and miscellaneous, keeping an accurate account of all such transactions.

September Trivia Question Answer: What was the denomination of the first US Nickel in
1865? – In 1865 first coin called a Nickel was 3 cents. one member did find documentation of a 1 cent Nickel.

October Trivia Question: What were the first cent coins authorized by the United
States called?

August Pot Coin: Indian Head Penny( I mean cent)

Christmas Dinner Event: We have picked to have our Christmas Dinner Event at Tuscan Hall. Save the date for December 6th. More details to follow.

Auction Meeting: Start preparing for the Auction Meeting. Auction Items will need to be
submitted to Randy by October 29th to prepare for the meeting. Everyone is limited to 20 items. If you have any questions, please let us know.
