Last Month’s Presentation: It was interesting to learn the difference between error coins and varieties available for coins. Thank You John for presenting. I hope you can all join us
for the second part of John’s presentation at the October Meeting.

Mint News: The mint had meetings in September to design a Comic coin and medal
design for Superman in 2025. Check out the designs 2025 Superman Comic Art Coin
& Medal | CCAC Images | U.S. Mint (usmint.gov). They are also expanding the
Christmas ornament program. There will be a Quarter (already sold out) Half Dollar
and Dollar ornament design. I am wondering what the interest is. I could not find any
documentation on the program start date. If anyone does know, please share at the
meeting.

We are preparing for the Auction Night meeting. We will need your list of items no later
than October 28th. Please include a description and minimum bid. Please email them
to Randy. The limit is 10 items per person. Thank You

(Enter the South entrance during construction.)
There are pavement repairs occurring at the Schuetze Recreation Center. The main
doors are having the concrete repaired. Members will have to access the building on
the South side of the building. There is a parking lot on the south side of the building to
allow easier access to the meeting room than the North parking lot. The blue arrow shows the entrance people should use to enter the building.

Christmas Dinner:
We will be returning to Tuscan Hall for our Christmas Dinner. December 11, 2024
Doors will open at 5:30pm. Cost is $25 per person. You can pay on the night of the
Party. Contact Eric so he has an accurate head count for the restaurant.

Trivia: What year was the first US Dollar Coin Minted? Bonus
