Our November meeting included exhibits such as an article from Coin World which reported that according to the Mint Director, “a rarity” will be released into circulation in 2019, a coin salvaged from the Admiral Gardner, a ship that sank in 1809, a variety of numismatic reference materials illustrating how much more complicated and difficult grading standards have gotten over the years. a $20 bill with a cross inside a circle on one corner, and (5) 50th anniversary McDonald tokens.  Good News! Our President Chuck P has re-arranged his schedule and shall return in 2019 as President.  Please welcome Chuck back for next year.

Thank you to all the volunteers that manned the Kettle for the Salvation Army last weekend.  Especially those that waited for “no-show” Randy.

Our Christmas Dinner is Dec 5th at Tuscan Hall. Hor’dourves 5:30 – Dinner at 6 PM.  The club selected a cheese platter, meatballs with sauce, and stuffed mushrooms as our three appetizers.

Good News!  Chuck has re-arranged his schedule and will return as President for 2019.  Please welcome Chuck back.

  • Our Christmas Dinner is Dec 5th at Tuscan Hall. Dinner at 6.  
  • Our next regular meeting of the Waukesha Coin Club will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Jan 2nd , at the Waukesha Salvation Army meeting room located at 445 Madison Street.  The Salvation Army is located one block west of the corner of Highway 18 and Madison Street. Enter through the back door and take the elevator to the second floor.
  • Guests Welcome: If anyone wants to bring new collectors young or old to the meetings, remember that guests are always welcome!
