Thank you to everyone that attended the September meeting.


Presentation Large Cent
1793 was the official start of minting coins for the United States. Steve’s presentation highlighted the large cent that was used from 1793 to 1857. 8 different designs where created. They were pure copper. The design of the coin from 1797 to 1807 was not popular. 1815 was the year no large cents were minted. The 1858 Flying Eagle replaced the large cent. Thanks for the information Steve.

November Coin Club Auction
Calling all sellers and buyers. We will be having the Annual
coin Auction in November. Between now and October 19th,
give Randy or Don a description of your items you would like
to auction, with a minimum bid amount. The auction items
will be published in the November Newsletter

Calling all Bell Ringers. We do not know where we will be ringing on Friday November 25th. The Salvation Army is always gracious enough to host our meetings. It is time to give back. Please consider joining us for an hour or two on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Regarding Chet Krause Memorial
I hope everyone is working on generously donating through the club for the Chet Krause Memorial. There is a flyer that was handed out to the members at the meeting in September. Chet Krause Memorial Flyer
