Presentation

World’s Columbian Exposition 1893 There were several coins released to help fund
the project of holding the Worlds Exposition. It took over 10 years to organize the
event. 27 million people participated at 50 cents for an entry fee. The first elongated
coin was available at the Exposition. The Women’s Council coin represented the first
foreign monarch on a US coin. Thank you Chuck for the wonderful presentation.

Election Information:

Here are the descriptions for the officer positions that will be
elected in 2024. If you have any interest in a position please reach out to the current
officers and let them know.
The PRESIDENT shall preside at all meetings, and shall also be an automatic member of any committees formed.
The VICE-PRESIDENT shall perform all duties of the President in their absence.”
The SECRETARY shall keep a written report of all Club transactions, including a written report of the meetings. Candidate is MC
The TREASURER shall collect and disburse all monies, dues, income from auctions,

Refreshments: We will not be providing refreshments since we will be at the new
meeting location which is a bar.
